The F130I flame monitoring device is LAMTEC’s new safety system, designed specially for monitoring ignition and main flames. The F130I flame monitoring device by LAMTEC provides operators of industrial firing systems and power plants with a reliable high-tech device for flame monitoring.
The F130I uses ionisation to monitor the flame. Optical flame sensors can also be connected to the device. The F130I flame monitoring device is particularly impressive when used for more demanding monitoring requirements, such as monitoring in firing systems with single burner flames. The ionisation-based F130I flame monitoring device has been approved for permanent operation.
The evaluation device may only be operated with the approved flame sensors. The F130I is not designed for the direct switch-off fuel valves. The subsequent signalprocessing must be carried out in the control system, which is adapted to suit the firing system in question.

The F152 is housed in a plug-in module for top hat rail mounting and together with the scanner FFS07 / FFS08 forms a safety device for optical monitoring of burner flames without complicated selection tasks. The flame monitoring device F152 is designed as a two-channel system with electronic self-monitoring. Adaptation to country-specific mains frequencies is not necessary, as they are suppressed by sliding fade-out. It has digital flame frequency evaluation and LED status displays. In addition, the device is supplied with a measuring output for intensity in the range 0-20 mA.
The FFS07 and FFS08 scanners are equipped with sensors for IR or UV range according to customer requirements. The system is suitable for monitoring tasks without high selection requirements for single and multi-fuel burners in heating plants and process furnaces that are operated with oil, gas, biomass, dust or process gases.
The flame monitoring device F152 and the probes FFS07 and FFS08 are certified according to IEC61508 part 2 according to SIL 3 and comply with the standards DIN EN 298 for gas operation and DIN EN 746-2 for process plants. The requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU) and Gas Appliances Directive (2009/142/EC) are also met. An Ex-I certificate for the FFS07 scanner is also available.
Type | Spectrum / nm | Preferred application / fuels |
